“Cairn” - One definition of the word cairn is a pile of stones that serves as a memorial. I am lucky enough to live very close to a park called Memorial Park. In Memorial Park is a beautiful rose garden. I try to walk through it several times a week. If you’ve ever tried to grow roses you know how tricky they can be. Not the roses at Memorial Park. They are so beautiful. Bringing this back to my grandmothers, this collection of paintings is a memoriam to them. My own memorial park rose garden on canvas instead of dirt.
