Arthur
“Arthur” - My granny was raised by her Aunt Hettie and Uncle Arthur Burk. Hettie was quite the accomplished woman for her time. For example she was a director of The Citizens Bank at Shelbyville from 1939 to 1960; was a member of the Board of Directors of the Shelby County Welfare Commission in 1935; a Democratic committeewoman 1921 to 1960; and more. As my husband said, she might have even worn pants! Oh the irony that I named this painting after her, but used her husband’s name. But Arthur just seemed to fit this painting. I think she’s ok with it.
Original acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. Painting measures 12 × 12 inches, with frame 13 × 13 inches. Wired on the back for easy hanging. Perfect addition to any gallery wall or art collection.
The artwork is varnished to protect against UV, dust and scratches. Signed and dated by the artist on the back of the painting.
Colors may vary depending on your monitor.
