“Peony Park” - This was June’s painting. Peony Park was an amusement park when I was growing up. We didn’t go often, but it was always a special time when we did. They had everything from a huge zero entry swimming pool to a roller coaster. It was quite the place. Many years ago they tore it all down. Now there’s a Hy-vee and a lot of apartments in it’s place. This painting is my attempt at a single peony. Every spring I tell myself I am going to plant a couple peonies, because I just love the blooms. This was another year of me painting them instead of planting them.
Original acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. Painting measures 8 × 10 inches, with frame 9 × 11 inches. Wired on the back for easy hanging. Perfect addition to any gallery wall or art collection.
