“Gather” - This was November’s painting. This month I tried to create a painting that went with the Thanksgiving holiday. My dad and uncle used to go pheasant hunting in the fall, and pheasant feathers came to symbolize the autumn season for me. My uncle gave me several feathers a couple years ago and over the years I’ve used them in my Thanksgiving table decorations. So it only seemed fitting to paint a floral arrangement that included feathers.
